[Car Instalation Guide]
- or tutorial for the dumbasses-

This is a part of the FAQ, but since it's big, I decided to put it on a whole different page. I hope this will be helpfull. Any comments? Please mail me, I'll be glad to send you to hell if you decide to bitch.

There are 2 ways to install a car. I'll guide you through the easy way, as its a lot easier, and you dont need to do any hard editing, which is allways a plus.

You see, cars need a 'Carname.txt' in order for them to appear in-game. You could also add them to the descriptor files, but that takes longer, and theres a lot bigger chance that you might fuck up. First, lets see how them txt files are set up - I took the Bigfoot.txt I made for refference.

NAME "Bigfoot" - this is the car name. It needs to be the same as the car directory. If its not, it wont work.
DESCRIPTION "Top Speed: 250mph
Kerb weight: 4.0 tons
0-60mph: 6.2 seconds
Hisssss"
- description stuff that shows up in the details bit in the garage. Not really important, you can shove yer mum in here if you want to, it wont affect the car performance.
DESCRIPTOR "Bigfootdescriptor.txt" - Car descriptor name. Its usualy called 'Carname'descriptor.txt.
DRIVER_NAME "Bi G. Foot" - duh..
DRIVER_SHORT_NAME "BigFoot" - shows up in races.
STRENGTH 150 - car strenght. Not really important either, as it dun affect stuff either.
COST 1        // in thousands! - car cost. The lower it is, the cheaper the car is. Thats why mine is set to 1. :)
TYPE 1             // 0 = eagle, 1 = normal, 2 = novelty - you generally wanna keep this to 1.
DISPLAY_NAME "Bigfoot" - Name that shows up in the garage. You can put anything you want here.
DRIVER_TYPE 0 - not important
ARMOUR 25 - not important
POWER 25 - not important
OFFENSIVE 25 - not important

Once you've set up the txt file, just shove it in the car's folder and load up TDR (Bigfoot.txt goes in /assets/cars/bigfoot/ folder for example). It should work propperly. For refference, here's how my Bigfoot.txt looks like:

NAME "Bigfoot"
DESCRIPTION "Top Speed: 250mph
Kerb weight: 4.0 tons
0-60mph: 6.2 seconds
Hisssss"
DESCRIPTOR "Bigfootdescriptor.txt"
DRIVER_NAME "Bi G. Foot"
DRIVER_SHORT_NAME "BigFoot"
STRENGTH 150
COST 1        // in thousands!
TYPE 1            // 0 = eagle, 1 = normal, 2 = novelty
DISPLAY_NAME "Bigfoot"
DRIVER_TYPE 0
ARMOUR 25
POWER 25
OFFENSIVE 25

Okay.. got it? I hope ya did, cuz I aint explaining this anymore. And if you're dumb as fuck and dont understand what ya have to do, dont come running to me. :) Hope that it helps you people out.

Props go out to:
