The making of my 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda

Hey there, welcome to my page dedicated to one of my favourite muscle cars,
the '71 Hemicuda.
Here I'll be posting pictures of the 3D model I'm working on, I'll be updating
this page as I progress with it. I'm using 3DSMax 5 to make it, the final model
will be available for Poser 4 @ DAZ3D. Both versions will be available, the
convertible and the hardtop as well, as shown in the pic above.

Done with the convertible this afternoon, faster than I expected ;)

Finished the HT version, so I started working on the convertible
to make it look like the one that Don Johnson had in "Nash Bridges"
wich still needs some minor details to be fixed, but it's almost there.
The colors you see on the renders are some of the original 1971 Plymouth
colors, K-2 "Vitamin C", C-7 "In Violet" and Y-1 "Lemon Twist".

Almost there! still missing some interior parts and details,
and the trunk floor and walls, not to mention the mirrors and
some other body details. There's a good chance that I'll have
it finished by next week.

Finished the engine, so I decided to add some materials and make
some nice renders =)

Finished the chassis details and worked on the engine, based on
pictures of the real one and a 1:6 and 1:24 scale models wich I have,
that helped a lot to keep things simple. Also got the dash and the
door panel done in the interior, as well as all the emblems in the car.
Still missing is the transmission and maybe some minor details in the engine
bay, then I'll start working on the interior.

Added more details to the chassis, and modelled some more parts.
The modelling on the chassis is almost done, I just need to work on the
front sub-frame and some steering parts.

As you can see, I just got started a couple of days ago, so this is what I got so far.
Basically, the body is done, I'm still deciding if I'll make the side blinkers with
textures or 3D. Other parts I already have modelled are the front fascia,
the trunk, hood, front and rear bumpers and the outer door panel.
