How to get rid of e-mail spam.

Posted Thursday, December 28th 2006

I just read a great article about abolishing e-mail spam from daily life. It makes a number of great points and is a great guide when it comes to getting rid of spam. Although some of the steps taken in the process might be superfluous to someone that is not that exposed, it is a great read and introduces a few concepts that work great.

Oh, and the ideas involve Gmail. Gmail rocks. :)

EDIT. One more. :)

Posted Friday, December 22nd 2006

And for those asking where I’ve been for the past uh.. three weeks.. Well, I’ve been busy. I’ll try to write more. :)

The Pirate Tax - Will it shut them up?

Posted Wednesday, December 6th 2006

I just finished reading quite an interesting column by John Dvorak. He suggests applying a “pirate tax” (in the US) which would compensate the RIAA and MPAA (and their member companies) for every blank CD, DVD or Hard-Disk based player bought. The RIAA & MPAA would get roughly $1 billion yearly from this, according to his estimates.

Would it shut them up?
