Observations..

When they said that the postgraduate course is hard, they weren’t kidding. I remember talking to my advisor a few months ago, and he said that the course is very hard. It starts off relatively slow, to give the new guys some time to get acustomed to how things work, but after a few weeks, work load increases exponentially.
And he wasn’t kidding. Just two weeks left in the semester, and I’ve got a number of assignments to work on and submit, not to mention the work I’ve submitted over the past 10 weeks. In the past 10 weeks I’ve probably submitted as much work as I would have submitted in a whole year during the undergraduate studies. I’m not complaining - I know it’s supposed to be like this. But it’s really starting to get to me. I feel somewhat depressed and not motivated at all. I need rest, and I need it now.
Thankfully, Christmas break starts at at the 17th, and I’ll be going home for a few weeks. I certainly look forward to spending some time with my family and my friends, and most certainly my girlfriend. I’ll probably be working during those three’ish weeks, but at least I’ll see some people that are important to me. I’m also looking forward to the new year’s party. Last year’s party sucked donkey crackers, so this year I’m hoping to do something a bit more fun. And I’ve got a few things planned too. My parents might be away for a few days during new years, so I’ll have the house to myself. Might even throw a small party or something, if all goes well.
I’m tired.
